Donor-derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA) is a biomarker used to evaluate organ health and assess the risk of transplant rejection.
dd-cfDNA has a short half-life, ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours, allowing elevations to be detected almost immediately. ¹
The use of dd-cfDNA as a tool for transplant monitoring is well established in over 600 publications across multiple transplant types.
GraftAssureIQ™ is a dd-cfDNA test that uses droplet-digital™ PCR (ddPCR™) technology to measure the concentration of dd-cfDNA using a validated set of predefined SNPs with high minor allele population frequency.
The kit enables the determination of both fractional (%) and absolute (copies/mL) concentration of dd-cfDNA in one streamlined workflow for a comprehensive dual approach understanding of the amount of dd-cfDNA in the sample.
